After 54 years, I’ve heard you loud and clear — you don’t want me to go anywhere.
I’ve heard it in emails, in letters, from the women in my stores: you don’t want me to retire. So I tried — and you wouldn’t let me.
Here’s what’s next: Feathers is going smaller, sleeker, and made right here in Melbourne. I’m keeping Collins Place — we’ve got the lease — and I’ll have a little studio in Toorak too, if you ever want to stop by. And this September, we’re opening a new small shop in Brighton.
Thank you for the letters, the emails, the conversations in-store — for giving me 54 years of love. I’m not going anywhere. See you soon.
