One of Australia’s most iconic native birds, the Australian magpie is a great singer, it’s beautiful warbling song is highly recognisable to Aussies 😂 . It's a really beautiful sound at 6am in the morning.

They are also extremely intelligent, and can recognise your individual human face, so if you are mean to it one day, it will know to swoop on you another day, should you ever walk past its territory.

But if you’re nice to it, it will also remember that, and have been known to form strong family bonds with humans they are familiar with. What super amazing birds 🐦.

It is now part of our embroidery family so you can request it on things. Here it is on our makeup bag that we have recently made, upcycled from denim jeans ♻️.

This is my Melbourne Tram embroidery 🚋. I just finished embroidering it this morning on my machine ❤️. It has 35,891 stitches and takes 55min 21sec to complete (if there are no thread breakages)!!!! That is a looooooong time!

It has been named Melbourne’s most detailed tram embroidery 2026. (By me lol) 😂

If you are wondering if the 83 tram exists, it does. In my dreams and in my stories. It’s a reference to my little sister Sophia. Who is half my story ❤️.

Anyway, some days as I wander through Melbourne’s laneways, it truly does feel magical, unique, amazing. Have a beautiful Tuesday Morning 🌅.

🪷 Because my life is surrounded by bags and bag things you might think that I would be sick of looking at them 🥰. But I’m not, sometimes I fall in love with some of them, and I do have favourites 😂. This one is our denim patch Lotus Tote…and I love this one. Something about the denim colours and denim stress 😍♻️.

I called this design the Lotus Tote because I was in Cambodia designing in a bamboo thatched pavilion overlooking a lotus pond 🪷

I made the lotus tote as a larger version of the book tote, that has a zip top and shoulder straps ✨

It’s not online yet, but I will add it today!! 💪

Tapestry appreciation post 😍. This magical tapestry was donated by Anne ❤️. I love it. It is my project for next two weeks ♻️✨🎁. It is about 69cm wide and 49cm tall. So we cannot make small things from it because we want to preserve its magical scene in its fullness. I will decide soon…and then show you results in two weeks. Hopefully…I could end up working in the shop everyday and be too tired in the evenings lol. But I will try my best!!!

Oooooh just finished our batch of denim patch makeup bags in small size ♻️🎁✨ They have been lovingly handmade from donated denim jeans from Melbourninans 👖. Thank you so much! We have passed 110 tonnes of upcycling now 🥰🐝
