I honestly don’t know what title to give anymore because over the last 7-8 years she’s become a little bit of everything to La Sierra.
We actually first met when I was modelling earrings for a friend’s old brand and Maysie was the photographer. Little did I know at the time that nearly a decade later she would become such a huge part of bringing the visual world of La Sierra to life.
Over the years I’ve called her our photographer, graphic designer, creative director, branding support, website helper, stylist… honestly, the list goes on.
She was the creative behind our latest rebrand and has helped shape so much of how La Sierra looks and feels today. What’s always amazed me is how deeply she understands the brand. The quality, the connection, the meaning behind it all. She just gets the vision every single time, often without me needing to over explain it.
From chaotic shoot days trying to squeeze way too many outfit changes into one afternoon, to countless hours spent brainstorming ideas and bringing them to life, Maysie somehow manages to do it all. Shooting, filming, helping with styling and creative direction, solving problems on the go and making everything feel calm and beautiful.
She is honestly one of the biggest assets behind the scenes of La Sierra. Beyond the work itself, she is simply such a joy to create with. Over nearly a decade, what started as a working relationship has grown into a really meaningful friendship and I’m so incredibly grateful for everything she has poured into this brand over the years.
