Back when we first started knitting, Brunswick was the centre of Melbourne’s textile industry. Nowadays things have changed and hardly anyone knits in Australia. Companies chasing cheaper prices moved their production and jobs overseas. Our family has been knitting in Brunswick for h

alf a century now and we’re not about to stop. Like a good family recipe, our knits are constantly being tweaked and perfected. Every great recipe warrants the best tools, we have an amazing collection of knitting machinery, enough to document the last century of knitted history. The idea behind veteran scarves came about over a few beers at our local Coburg RSL with the various members and ex-service men as well as meeting with the Victorian RSL and we came up with an idea to raise some money to keep the club viable. After many different ideas and trials we came up with the products you see now, and we’re extremely proud of our product being made in Australia. Our products are made with pride so wear them with pride always remembering the huge sacrifices made by our soldiers to make Australia the place it is today. Like a good family recipe, our knits are constantly being tweaked and perfected.
