A little post today that's not our usual fashion programming ☺️
This year, one of my dreams came true when I purchased my own home! The experience is still slightly surreal, moving into the space, filling it with things I love, and making it my little sanctuary, it all feels like a bit of a dream.
This year had actually begun with an unexpected heartbreak, one of life's turns, followed by a slew of back to back events and projects. The year of the fire horse had certainly tested my emotional and mental strength! Trying my best to come out of a difficult period with patience and grace, I found this little place by the lake. When I walked in, it immediately felt like somewhere I could call home.
While packing my things, I stumbled upon a note I wrote to myself years ago. I was a bright eyed and slightly naive twenty something, fresh out of fashion school. The note listed 3 life goals - 1 : To make a living doing what I love. 2 : to buy a place where I can call home. 3 : to find true love. 😆 I'm glad two of the three dreams have come true, perhaps they had to happen in order.. haha!
So here I am, in my little nook. These days, I have felt a sense of contentment. So many experiences, challenges, and so much hard work, I look back, appreciating every moment and every lesson that has led me to this place.
