Thanks to the Laurimar Netball Club for their trust in us to provide your inaugural First Nations warm up tees. It was great to work with Ebony who created the artwork and help make her vision come to life. Can’t wait to see all of the players and members wearing the tops proudly in the community.

At Flockmaster, we’re incredibly fortunate to work with sporting clubs every day. Through that, we’ve come to understand that clubs are much more than teams—they’re families, bringing people together through shared experiences, lifelong friendships, and a genuine sense of belonging.

This week we had the opportunity to help the Epping Football Netball Club
during one of the most difficult times they could face, following the heartbreaking loss of Nathan. It was our privilege to be able to provide a small contribution in support of the club and everyone affected.

As a family business, with our own staff and their families deeply involved in local sport, moments like these remind us just how connected our sporting communities really are. When one club hurts, it resonates far beyond the playing field.

Supporting sporting clubs has never been just about supplying uniforms and merchandise. It’s about standing alongside the people and communities that make local sport so special—in the good times and the difficult ones.

Our heartfelt condolences go out to Nathan’s family, friends, teammates, coaches, volunteers and the entire community. We hope you find strength in each other and know that your wider sporting community is thinking of you.

This week we celebrated Som’s retirement after 35 years of service at Flockmaster.
Born in Loas he escaped the country during a Civil War in the 80’s by swimming across a large river to Thailand in the darkness of night, whilst the army shot bullets into the water.
After years in a refugee camp he migrated to Australia for a better life.
Not long after landing in Australia he gained employment at Flockmaster as a printers assistant. This is where he learned the trade of screen printing and he soon became a specialist Flock transfer printer - which was a very popular method in the 90’s.
As new print methods came along and industry demands changed he adapted his skills to master these techniques.
35 years of service to one company is an impressive achievement.
