Where The Wilde Things Are is a store like no other where you will find the most beautiful & unique handmade treasures & accessories from near & far. Silk clothing made from repurposed vintage saris, Pali baskets handwoven in Myanmar from brightly coloured recycle

d plastics, exquisitely handcrafted costume jewellery, including the owner's own label, scarves, bags, elegant block printed cotton dresses are just some of the treasures you will see. A dog friendly destination where your pooch will be welcomed with home made treatos.

There is something very special about having one of your favourite local stores become part of your story and I'm happy to say that store is Victor Alexandre Design.
Just around the corner from our office in Olinda, it has long been one of my favourite spots to wander. A beautiful collection of handmade clothing, designed and made right here in Melbourne, alongside accessories and pieces you do not see everywhere else.
And now, our bags are there too.
It feels right. As though our bags have found a natural home among such thoughtful, locally made pieces.
For our local customers, this also means something new. With our retail store now closed, you can still experience our bags in person, right here in the heart of the Dandenong Ranges.
And if you are lucky, you might meet Finn while you are there. He is very fond of visiting… especially when there is time for a quiet visit and JDee always a cup of tea waiting. 🫖
I can wholeheartedly recommend a visit.
