This colour palette has been called everything from Lemon and Minted Sky to Lemongrass and Vanilla.
It has shades of zesty yellow to mustard. Minted greens to sky blue and vanilla biscuit to grey slate.

I've been busy of late, creating new balloons for my next market at Yarra Glen. Continuing the theme of classic children's books, and following on from a very successful Beatrix Potter/Peter Rabbit showcase... up next is Dr Seuss.

We know him, we love him and the books/characters are timeless. Kids love Dr Seuss and I know plenty of you have asked for them, so next market the character balloons will be on show. From the well known Cat in the Hat and The Lorax to Horton Hears a Who, Fox in Socks, Green Eggs and Ham, Hop on Pop, One Fish, Two Fish... the list goes on.

Come and check them out on November 1st at Yarra Glen. Sunshine, good food, great people... see you there!

We're back from a fabulous break in Bali! Beautiful weather, fantastic shopping, great food and cocktails galore... I was there to celebrate my 40th birthday and this trip gave me so much more than I expected.

We celebrated with friends; old & new, we missed our 3 year old daughter terribly, but it soon became evident over Skype that we were interrupting HER holiday at Nana's.

As winter hopefully fades to Spring soon, I have planned Egg & Nest's new market dates until the end of the year.
I'm excited to unveil new stock and new designs that I've been working on. A lot of Alice in Wonderland fabrics, also 16 panel hot air balloons (which are selling in the Etsy store faster than I can make the stock) and all new boys fabrics.

I'd love to see you at any of our market dates!
