From a single piece of material to a finished headpiece... ✨

What looks like a simple flower takes hours of careful craftsmanship behind the scenes.

🌿 Step 1: Starting with the raw materials.
🌸 Step 2: Each petal is individually hand-shaped and wired, allowing it to be gently sculpted into a lifelike 3D form.
✨ Step 3: The petals are carefully assembled onto a headband before adding the finishing touches, a pop of colour, hand-beaded stamen centres, and a metallic gold braid wrapped by hand.

Beautiful millinery isn’t fast and that’s exactly the point.

Good things take time. Every Divine Millinery piece is handcrafted using quality materials and meticulous finishing techniques, creating a timeless accessory designed to be worn, treasured and enjoyed for many race days and special occasions to come.

That’s the beauty of slow fashion, investing in craftsmanship over mass production. 🤍

There’s something incredibly special about unboxing a custom-made hat block ✨

This beauty has just arrived from Hat Blocks Australia and I am absolutely obsessed with those gorgeous curves. Every detail has been crafted to perfection, and the quality is simply outstanding.

A huge thank you to Darryll, who guided me through every step of the process. His knowledge, craftsmanship and passion for traditional millinery tools are second to none. It’s clear he is a true master of his trade.

Now comes the exciting part... turning this stunning block into a beautiful hat. Stay tuned to see what this beauty looks like all blocked up! 🤍
