Have begun another blanket by Janie Crow, The Persian Tiles Throw. I love a well written pattern. This one could use a few additional photos, but there is an entire FB page dedicated to this very pattern.
My friend has requested the same colours used in the blanket, and I must say, I actually quite like how they go together. This is going to be another large project, but I never shy away from a challenge!

I have been so busy over the last few weeks, that once I’m finished this shawl, I will be taking a little break, and working on some of my own projects (sooooo many wips!

This Illusions knitting is nearly killing me. It’s such a big project! This is one of Jamo’s Designs, and I’m using BWM -
2x Luxury Oxford Blue
2x Luxury Cream (which rhymes with scream 😂), which is very apt with how I’m feeling right about now.
I think I may have found 2 design errors in the pattern, so I’m going to run it past Jamo tomorrow, and keep you all posted.

Today, after 5 long weeks, I finally reached the halfway mark. Half way! 400 rows, and I’m only HALFWAY! Just to put it out to the universe, I will not be making another. Not because I’m not thrilled with the challenge and the learning journey, but because it’s almost taking everything out of me. Maybe if it was crochet, I’d feel different, or maybe after 3 months I’d take another stab at it 😂🤷🏻‍♀️❤️

These cardigans bring so many memories back of the 70’s and 80’s. 100% pure cotton nostalgia, from the teeny weeny 6 month old, right through to the largest 8 year old one.
Simple pattern, easy to use once you get the hang of it. A few additional photos would have made it a 5 star pattern. Having said that, the communication with the designer was excellent.
