❤️ What a week.
The 2026 NAIDOC Basketball Carnival has come to a close, and we're still taking it all in.
With 111 teams, more than 800 registered players, and thousands of moments of connection, competition and community, this was our biggest and most successful event to date.
Across four incredible days, we witnessed outstanding basketball, celebrated culture, welcomed families from across Western Australia, delivered our Binar Health Embassy, connected people with valuable community services, and created an event that truly belonged to everyone.
None of this happens by chance.

To every team that travelled from regional Western Australia, every player who pulled on a jersey, every coach, parent, supporter and family member who filled the courts with energy and encouragement... thank you for making this carnival what it is.
This success belongs to every single person who played a part. Whether you organised, volunteered, officiated, partnered, sponsored, competed or cheered from the sidelines, you helped create something truly special.
Thank you for helping create an event that was welcoming, respectful, competitive and full of community spirit.
