Sydney based and multi-award winning bridal and race-wear milliner Viktoria Novak has a fresh approach which has brought her to the forefront of the chic world of millinery design. Viktoria is renowned for her attention to detail, including colour matching and her ability to instill a part of your personality into the pieces she creates. Headpieces include fascinators, combs, hats, hatinators, Swarovski crystal pieces, veils, birdcage veils, and head-bands. When looking for a unique, purpose-designed and meticulously hand-crafted headpiece, Viktoria can custom-make a headpiece for any special occasion such as weddings, formals, special events and spring racing carnivals. Viktoria’s bridal headpieces have been featured and published in many online blogs, websites and publications including, VOGUE Australia, Modern Wedding, Cosmopolitan Bride, Luxury Weddings, WHITE and the Brides Diary magazines. My love of fashion started long before I ever knew it could become such a big part of my life. As a little girl, I loved dressing up and I especially loved a pair of white Mary Jane shoes my Dad bought me. I loved those shoes so much I even wore them to bed in my sleep.

Standing on that stage all these years later, being named Fashion Icon of the Year 2026, wearing another pair of white Mary Janes, suddenly brought me right back to that little girl and to Dad. I wish I’d had the chance to tell him that I’d found my white shoes again…

So this award is for Dad, the shoes, and every wonderfully weird misfit who never grew out of wearing what they love and being exactly who they are. Thank you Women in Fashion Global Pitcher Partners 🙏🏻💋👠 VIKTORIA NOVAK

I’m still a little lost for words… 🥹🩷 I was incredibly honoured to be named Fashion Icon of the Year 2026 at the Women in Fashion Luncheon & Awards. I genuinely didn’t expect to hear my name called, and I’m still trying to take it all in. Fashion and creativity have been such a huge part of my life for more than 20 years, so to be recognised in this way amongst so many incredibly talented and inspiring women feels very special. I’m enormously grateful to Women in Fashion Global presenting partner Pitcher Partners all of the judges and sponsors for this beautiful honour, also a big thank you to everyone who has supported, encouraged and celebrated my work over the years. I’ll treasure this one. Thank you, truly 🫶🏻

What a night at Brisbane Fashion Festival ✨
Such a beautiful evening celebrating Australian fashion with SACHA DRAKE SACHA DRAKE at the Designer Group Show. 💫

And yes… you chose the dress! 👑 I wore the stunning Aurelius Gown, as voted by you, and it was even more gorgeous in person. Getting dressed by Sacha for the evening and then having the chance to mingle, laugh and celebrate with her made the night extra special. 💕

From the VIP lounge to the runway and the after-party, there was such a fabulous energy in the room, fashion, creativity and so many wonderful people all in one place.

Thank you SACHA DRAKE for having me and for making me feel so beautiful. And thank YOU to everyone who voted for my look… I think we chose well! 😉✨

A world where survival is instinct, but humanity is a choice. 🎬

I was invited along to a special advance screening of The Dog Stars Ridley Scott’s new post-apocalyptic thriller starring Jacob Elordi and Josh Brolin.

Set in a brutal and isolated world, the film follows young pilot Hig as a mysterious radio transmission sends him beyond the safety of the life he’s built, in search of something he still believes exists: hope and humanity.

Well… this was a rather lovely surprise. 🥹🩷
I’ve been officially nominated for not one, but TWO awards at the 2026 Women in Fashion Luncheon & Awards:

✨ Fashion Icon of the Year
✨ Best Dressed of the Year

Apparently all those years of being chronically overdressed have finally paid off. 😂👑
But truly, the Fashion Icon nomination in particular means so much to me. To have my creativity, personal style and contribution to Brisbane’s fashion scene recognised in this way is incredibly special.
