Been under the weather, maybe just over fatigued with recent events 😫 And I'm not a baker, you all know that. But lil chef here wanted to bake and we got some ripe bananas so why not, a lil therapy for us both 💝 Of course it took longer that expected, cooking dinner almost got delayed (and dad nearly getting HANGRY).. but hey what's new 😜? We bonded, we had fun, he learned and told me he would love to do more baking 🧑‍🍳Now to taste 😉🫶 ❤️

What a rollercoaster ride it has been 🎢🎡 From bumping in with severe weather conditions, pouring rain and unforgiving wind, to feeling lost setting it all up not knowing where to begin, to the daily hectic keeping up with stock levels, sleepless nights of creating and prepping products and everything else needed behind the scenes... to Seth getting sick requiring mum to stay at home, to the last minute roster changes to accommodate family matters, to picking up mum from the airport to show her support, and actually just making it to school pick ups, to grinding it daily, selling our hearts out.. and now to finally shutting the curtains. Truly, it was one heck of a rollercoaster ride! Lots of exhausting days, a dreadful day of low sales, but also heaps of days of triumphs and unexpected highs! The best part you ask? ❤️Being a part of this tremendous community. ❤️Staff being so reliable, always going way and beyond. ❤️Feeling the support and love from family and friends 🫶 Priceless is an understatement! Truly, the Royal Adelaide Show is the best there is, nothing could ever ever compare!!! Thank you once again for making our journey memorable. Thank you, all of you ❤️📸credits:

Snippets of Day 2. 📸

Been in our stall for just an hour only to receive a phone call that Seth vomited a huge amount and was dry retching. He had tummy ache and stayed home.

There I was, rushing to go to the Chemist before it shuts at 5pm, then drove quickly home. 💊🚘🏁

Running a small biz, paricipating at the Show, requires full on commitment... but being a mum always comes first ❤️

So yes he'll miss school and I'd stay with him.. then grind back at the Show when he's better. Thank you for looking after our shop and agreeing to work extended hours Cassie and Andy 🙏

Sharing the only photos I captured, busy enough during that slim hour... hope you guys are enjoying the Show or rocking it as a vendor!

And yes, the Show must go on... but family comes first, always 🫶🫶🫶

This.. this is Day 1 🥂 🥂🥂 Chilly it was, but you guys showed up. Thank you, we appreciate you all ❤️ Heaps of familiar faces too🥰 A lil bit of nature play for my tiny helper completed it.. rides and showbags are of course on his list, a taste of everything would be a daily grind for sure😉 Couldn't have done it without these 2.. .p , you both rock! Such work ethic, thank you 🫶 If this is Day 1, couldn't wait to unfold the rest. Show runs until 7th Sept, grab your tickets now.. be a part of the best Show and support local 🥳
