Craft.Inc Moranbah For those that want to create but dont know where to start. Workshops and classes held throughout the year in different areas, learningbasic skills.

Lots of fun projects to have a go at. I have been involved in Sewing and Craft since I was 10 years old. Self taught in Sewing for many years then studied Fashion Design, earning a Cert III in Clothing Manufacturing and an Associate Diploma in Arts (Fashion-Pattern and Clothing Technology). I want to pass these skills on so will be holding Learn to Sew classes for those wanting to learn. I will st

art with the basics and work up from there
I also discovered a passion for all things craft when I met my best friend at school who's mother just happened to own a craft store. I learnt everything I could, macrame, knitting, cane craft, rug making, beading, anything that happened to trend. That passion never left me. Time to actually pursue these crafts became the issue...although it didn't stop me from buying craft supplies! Now I have a craft room full of stuff and a need to create. But I don't want to do it alone. My idea is to have project classes in different areas, supplying the materials so that others can have a go and see if they like it. If you have an idea of something you would like to try let me know. The plan is to have as much fun as possible and to go home with something you have made.

So I'm going to add a Learn to Knit class to my repertoire. Who would be interested?
I'm also planning a Level 1 sewing class. This will include working with patterns and fabric and making an item of clothing, I'm thinking a pair of elastic waist pants (adults or childrens)

Well first ever workshop done and dusted! Thankyou so much to the ladies that came along. I had the best time and it was lovely to meet you all.
I forgot to take photos! Maybe you all could send a photo of the cushion in its new home.
Just working out what my next level of class will be. I was thinking a pair of elastic waist shorts so could be a pair of boxers shorts, or kids shorts. It would be a lesson in reading patterns and cutting out. With the space I have could probably fit 4 people.
So I had a lucky door prize because it was my first workshop 😄, the cat and i have just done the draw and winner is Sharni Pearse! Sharni can you please message me your address and i will drop it off! Thanks again.

For those of you coming to the learn to Sew Workshop on 29th January, you will go home with a cushion you have made yourself. Here is the sample I made, 3 sewing steps. I thought I would add something to make it stand out and was very happy with the result!
I will be doing another workshop in the afternoon of 29th and there are still a couple of spots left if you are interested
