I established Shelli Morse Design after the arrival of my second child, not only to indulge a long held love of sewing with beautiful fabric but to fulfill the need to surround myself with unique handmade craft. I delight in using natural fibres such as pure linen, designer cotton, silk, wool felt and merino jersey to create my home wares, accessories and ladies and girls seasonal ranges. Each ran
ge is produced in small quantities to give individuals the chance to shine. The desire to create unique handmade designs with classic styling by combining beautiful quality textiles means I am constantly sourcing the ‘perfect’ combination of materials. Living in a small country town in North West New South Wales allows me to draw my inspiration from the environment and use natural fibres and hues inspired by the palette of my local area. My two children are also an endless source of inspiration. My artistic, clever big boy and my whimsical, princess girly girl motivate me to browse vintage patterns and trends and create classic pieces that are timeless.
