💙 **Dwarfism Awareness Month** 💙

As a family with a daughter who has dwarfism, this cause is especially close to our hearts. ❤️ We believe **every person deserves the opportunity to feel included, build confidence, make friendships and chase their dreams, regardless of their size or ability.**

We love seeing organisations like the **Dwarf Athletic Association of America (DAAA)** creating opportunities for athletes with dwarfism to participate in competitive and inclusive sports, build confidence and find a strong sense of community.

👏 **A huge congratulations to the Wolves for their incredible $25,000 donation to the DAAA!** What an amazing contribution towards creating more opportunities for athletes with dwarfism.

Our daughter. Our little boss lady. The heart behind Range Ratz. 💚

She’s funny, fun, sweet and caring. A little bossy? Absolutely. She knows her own mind and likes to make sure we know it too! We love every bit of the personality that makes her, her.

She is the reason behind Range Ratz. And she is why Dwarfism Awareness Month isn’t just another month on the calendar for our family. It’s personal. It’s about someone we love more than words can explain.

Our daughter has Ellis–van Creveld syndrome, a rare genetic form of dwarfism. It affects bone growth, often resulting in shorter forearms and lower legs. It can also involve extra fingers or toes, differences in teeth and nails, and heart differences present at birth. Parents can carry a gene change linked to the syndrome without having it themselves.

But those facts describe a syndrome. They could never describe our girl.

They don’t capture her humour, her sweetness, her caring heart or the way our little boss lady makes her presence known. And they aren’t a checklist of her experience. Her story belongs to her.

As her parents, we can’t choose every experience she’ll have. But we want so deeply for her to grow up knowing she belongs. To be included without having to ask. To be respected, listened to and seen for who she is, not just her height or her diagnosis.

That’s why we’re sharing. Because understanding matters, and because the person at the heart of this means everything to us.

October is Dwarfism Awareness Month, and this one is close to our hearts. Our daughter has a rare form of dwarfism, so for our family, awareness isn’t just a date on the calendar. It’s about making room for curiosity, kindness and conversations that help people see the person first. 💚

Range Ratz is a family-run golf brand, and the community we’re building around it matters to us. Whether we’re out on the course or chatting here, we want people to feel welcome to show up as themselves.

We’re sharing a few facts this month because there’s so much more to learn than any one post can cover.

Our daughter’s experience is her own, and we’ll always let her tell her story in her own way.

Beautiful, crazy… yep, that pretty much sums us up. 😂⛳

A husband who’s obsessed with golf, a wife who somehow turned that obsession into a business, three kids keeping us on our toes… and a collection of hats we’re just a *little* too proud of. 🧢🐀

We might be a little crazy, but we wouldn’t have it any other way. ❤️
