Not gonna lie…
This post feels a lil’ uncomfortable to share.

Because as business owners, we’re so often taught to keep going.

Keep producing.
Keep hustling.
Keep being “on”.

But truthbomb 💥
Rest is productive too.

So with that said, orders are officially CLOSED while I take a proper break and recharge until 12 June.

And honestly?
I’m really looking forward to slowing down for a hot second, refilling the creative cup, and coming back refreshed instead of running on fumes.

Thank you always for your support, patience, and kindness. It never goes unnoticed .
See you back here from 12 June, my friends.

Some chapters aren’t meant to close.
Only to be revisited, with new perspective.

The last time I exhibited at a wedding showcase… the world looked very different.

Back then, I was immersed in the wedding space, designing and handcrafting bespoke headpieces and veils, each created to be worn, treasured, and held onto long after the day itself.

Then came a pause.
A shift.
A moment of wondering whether that chapter had quietly come to an end.

But here’s the thing…

When something is truly part of you, your creativity, your craft, your purpose—it doesn’t simply disappear.

It evolves.

And this year, I find myself returning.
Not where I left off… but with a deeper sense of intention behind every piece I create.

This Sunday, I’ll be exhibiting at the Orange Wedding Showcase—my first in years.

If you’re attending, I’d love to invite you to step into my world for a moment…
to see the pieces up close, to feel the craftsmanship, and to find something that feels like you.

I would be so delighted to meet you.

Let’s be real…

We’re so used to pushing through.
Showing up. Holding it all together.

That when our body says “slow down"
we almost don’t know how to listen.

Today’s one of those days for me.

A perimenopause wave I didn’t exactly RSVP

but here we are.

So instead of forcing productivity

I’m choosing presence.
In my studio.
In the quiet.
In the in-between.

And honestly?

That counts too.

If you’ve ever had a day where your body just wasn’t on board with your plans

You’re not alone, friend 💛

There’s a moment when something shifts.

You stop waiting.
You stop second-guessing.
And you start moving… differently.

That’s where magnetism lives.

Follow if you feel it.

From a distance, it reads as a dusty pink flower.

Up close, it’s: Leather, blocked by hand

🩷 Feathers, cut one at a time

🩷 Petals shaped with heat

🩷 Layers adjusted until the movement feels right.

The softness is deliberate.
The structure is engineered.

2026 · In & Out

This year isn’t about trends.

It’s about how I create, design, and show up in my millinery business.

IN:
■ More pieces.
■ More creative flow.
■ Designing without overthinking.
■ Everyday hats alongside. statement styles.
■ Calm, confident creativity.
■ Pieces made to be worn and enjoyed.

OUT:
□ Holding back ideas.
□ Playing it safe.
□ Rushing the process.
□ Hustle-for-the-sake-of-it.
□ Saving style only for “special” moments.

2026 feels lighter.
More expressive.
More me.

Here’s to creating beautifully 🤍

Christmas night reflections🎄🎅

It’s Christmas night and I’m finally sitting down with a warm cuppa before heading off to bed — and I just wanted to pop on and wish you all a very Merry Christmas. I truly hope your day was filled with love, laughter and special moments.
I also want to say the biggest thank you for the love and support you’ve shown my millinery business throughout 2025. It’s been an incredible year creatively, and I’m already feeling excited (and inspired!) for 2026 and the new styles I can’t wait to create for you.
I’m currently taking a short break from shipping to recharge the batteries. While 2025 has been amazing, it’s also been a challenging year for me personally, so this time is all about self-care and being present with my family.
I’ll be back on deck and shipping orders again from January 2nd.

Thank you for being here, supporting small, and supporting me.

Wishing you a peaceful and beautiful Christmas night 🤍
Jules xoxo

She walked in wearing Julie Herbert Milliner at Hay Races and walked out Best Millinery Winner.

There are moments in this journey that stop me in my tracks, and Beck's win is one of them

Seeing one of my handcrafted headpieces not only worn with confidence, but celebrated on stage… that’s the kind of magic that reminds me why I do what I do.

Beck chose a statement piece that was bold, feminine, and utterly her, and she brought it to life so beautifully.
Her smile says it all. 🩷✨

To Beck: thank you for choosing one of my designs to accompany your moment.
To everyone who supports, wears, shares, and champions my little millinery world, wins like this belong to you as much as they do to me.

Here’s to more unforgettable moments, more confident women, and more millinery magic.
Jules x
