Desolve Take To The Water

08/10/2026

Spring is loading.
Warming Water. Fish On The Move. Fresh Oportunites. Awaken The Chase.

Desolve is a Gold Level Sponsor of the NZ Topwater Classic, running 17–22 November 2026.
We're right behind this event, but especially the biggest kingy from a boat category.
Five days. Kingfish only. Topwater fishing anywhere legally accessible across New Zealand — from the rocks, from the boat, or both.
With $20,000+ in prizes up for grabs, this is about as good as it gets for the topwater-obsessed.
Your biggest kingy counts. Land-based captures earn extra points. Release your fish and earn bonus points. Simple, competitive, and all about chasing serious fish on top. Limited entries available — once they’re gone, they’re gone.
We’re stoked to be backing an event that celebrates the fishery, the challenge and the obsession that comes with chasing kingfish on surface lures.

📢 Sound on for the heartbreak.
Big bite. Screaming run. Shallow reef. You already know how this one ends. 😅
Reload and go again. That's fishing.
