A tiny mouse, a beloved story, and lots of crochet stitches.

Made with love for a very special baby shower gift, inspired by the beautiful book Wherever You Go, My Love Will Follow by Brigitte Sif Every stitch was crocheted by hand, from those little round ears to the mustard overalls, creating a keepsake to remind a little one that they are loved wherever life takes them.

Handmade gifts carry a little piece of the maker’s heart, and this one was such a joy to create.

This one was special.

“Paradise” in Murrurundi — a home held by the same family for seven generations.
As I painted, I found myself noticing things you only see when you sit with a place for a while:
the rhythm of the weatherboards, the honesty of the brickwork, the way the steps lead you home.

It felt like getting to know someone slowly and properly.
Such an honour to paint this as a gift — a small thank you to a place that has given so much.

I challenged myself to try something different this year and hand-stitched a glasses case from vintage fabric, lace and tiny found treasures.
The sweetest part? Ian even got involved, choosing the details he thought his mum would love 🥹
