The shop piano has been upgraded!!
Of course, the old girl didn't get carted off to the tip - or burnt! As "the ultimate recycler" I had to carefully dismantle the 125 year old instrument and salvage everything I could! 😀

The time has come to retire our old, clapped-out community piano - but it's not going to be dumped! No way! Let's respectfully dismantle the old girl and see...

We had a chaotic but very enjoyable Christmas day and now have come back to work for a rest! 🤣🤣

Here's something that has been lurking in my storage shed for quite a number of years and I've finally managed to put it together!
Much to my surprise, all of the parts to this 1885 Wertheim Mangle were present and after some head scratching - it's now in working condition!
It's in the shop at $975 because Christine wasn't so keen on "mangling" our clothes 🤣

Hi all,
I haven't posted on this page for a long time, but thought I'd start sharing what I've been discovering each week in my emergency storage shed as filmed for my YouTube channel.
From this week's episode, I have some nice c.1920s original Australian landscape paintings which will be going in the shop this weekend.
The two long ones are both by D. George Bell, an artist who did a lot of work in Tasmania & southern Australia c.1890-1920. These will be $150 each but do need some repair.
The other two are a similar era and although I'm not sure of the artist, they are definitely Australian - one named "Glenelg River Casterton, Vic" and the other "Orphan Rock, Katoomba, NSW" in old pencil on the tattered backing paper. These need reframing/reglazing at a minimum. The paintings themselves are ok and will be $50 each.
The last is a 1980s era formula painting of a Parisian scene - a nice decorator item in good condition for $30.
