History made. Congratulations to Adelaide Crows captain Jordan Dawson on becoming the first Crow to win four Malcolm Blight Medals, claiming the club’s best and fairest honour for four consecutive seasons. 

For 30 years, we’ve made the gold jacket presented to the winner right here in our Newcastle factory, on behalf of Peter Shearer Menswear. Our team is proud to play a part in this Adelaide Crows tradition, and to see another jacket worn for such a special moment in the club’s history.

Behind the jacket is a longstanding relationship between two family businesses, with Peter Shearer Menswear supporting Australian manufacturing while supporting their local club.

A special day filled with beautiful connections!

Just one day after celebrating their first wedding anniversary, Jacinta and Sam attended Josh and Jess’s beautiful wedding at the stunning Wallalong House.

Sam wore his deep w**e, double-breasted made-to-measure wedding suit from Rundle Tailoring. We love seeing a wedding suit worn and enjoyed again, and the rich w**e colour looked wonderful alongside Jacinta’s soft blue floral dress.

And the beautiful florals? They were Jacinta’s work! She’s the talented florist behind Flowers of Willow, while we were proud to dress Josh and his groomsmen. It was so lovely to see Jacinta and Sam celebrating with Josh and Jess on their special day, with meaningful connections to both the florals and the suits.

We can’t wait to see more from Josh and Jess’s beautiful wedding day! Thank you to Jacinta and Sam for sharing these lovely photos and celebrating with them.

This smile says it all.

Sarah from our team is a huge Newcastle Knights fan, so when Dylan Lucas popped in the other day to thank us for dressing him for the Dally M Awards, she was so excited to meet him.

Dylan was so lovely to her and took the time for a photo together. Afterwards, Sarah had tears of joy. It absolutely made her day.

What this team means to our town runs deep. We’re proud of what they’ve achieved and how they’ve played, but also how they carry themselves and the way they treat their fans and our community. Moments like this mean so much.

One year since Jacinta and Sam said “I do” at the beautiful Krinklewood Estate!

We were proud to dress Jason and his groomsmen for his stunning wedding to Bec at White Barn Pokolbin Wedding Venue. How beautiful do they all look together!
Jason wore a made-to-measure navy three-piece suit with a crisp white shirt and navy bow tie, finished with a pocket watch, a lovely bit of personalisation.
His groomsmen wore dark navy ready-to-wear suits with sky blue bow ties, tying in beautifully with the bridesmaids’ light blue dresses.

Ruby red and race day ready. ❤️🏇

Bronwyn enjoyed a fabulous day at Newcastle Racecourse on Saturday for the Hunter Rugby Union / Long Weekend Newcastle Race Day.

She wore her ruby red made-to-measure double breasted suit, changing things up by swapping the black buttons for gold. Changing the buttons on your suit is a great way to freshen it up or create a different look for a special occasion.

Her matching suit and hat created a monochrome look, finished with gold and ivory accessories.

Unbelievably proud ❤️💙❤️💙

Our boys gave it everything yesterday, right to the end.

What they’ve given Newcastle over these past few weeks goes well beyond the result. The happiness, the excitement, the anticipation. Red and blue everywhere you looked, and that wonderful feeling of an entire city getting behind our team.

We’ve felt so connected to our community, all sharing those emotions and coming together as one. It’s been such a special time.

We’re proud to dress the boys and be there cheering them on, too.

Today, just an enormous amount of pride.

At the season launch, Justin Holbrook spoke about how much the Knights mean to this region, right down to whether people go to work happy on a Monday.

Justin, the belief you’ve instilled in the boys is a credit to your coaching. They’re such a committed, connected playing group, backing each other and giving Newcastle so much to be proud of.

Our town is right behind you. Homes, shops and streets are turning red and blue, and you can feel the excitement everywhere.

We’re so proud of the team and everything they’ve done to get here. We’ll be cheering you on with the rest of Newcastle, !

Two Newcastle names. Decades of shared history. 🔵🔴

A little trip down memory lane in the lead up to the Grand Final!

Natalie, sister of former Newcastle Knights player Rodney Howe, paid us a surprise visit at the shop this week, kindly bringing along some memorabilia from her brother’s playing days, from 1988 to 1994.

Among the pieces was his Newcastle Knights corporate shirt, featuring the Knights logo alongside our old “Rundles” logo. Natalie has generously lent us this little piece of our shared history to display in our Knights themed window.

For around 30 years, we’ve proudly dressed the Newcastle Knights in their corporate uniforms. We take pride in getting every detail right and helping the players feel confident in what they wear. Many have chosen us to dress them for their weddings, awards nights and professional careers after their playing days. It’s a privilege to have those relationships continue long after they leave the field.

Thank you, Natalie, for thinking of us and bringing these in. We loved chatting with you about the memories behind each piece, and what a treat to see a shirt from Rodney’s playing days with our name on it!

It’s a great time to come into town and see how our community has rallied behind the Knights. Local businesses are painting the town red and blue, showing just how much Newcastle is behind our team.
