We’re back…. TOMORROW

After being shut all week, I’ve been packing and posting out online orders before heading to my other job every day for you lot, and wouldn’t have it any other way!

I’ve made the call though, and we are going to trade in store for only 2 more days. TOMORROW AND SATURDAY!

A heap of click n collects packed again, new pick up is now at on the days we are shut! There’s a sign in our window, you can’t get lost…

Made some serious in roads today with the orders!

Some status updates, still a bunch of stock available and a heap of items being posted tomorrow. Mum would have hand written about 100+ addresses today along with myself packing them, herculean effort given the size of some of the orders. Please be patient - along with taking time off from my other job to keep things running as well as possible, my house also flooded Sunday evening, and also had staff unavailable as they have been sick too.

On track to open tomorrow, with a heap of click n collects now ready 🫶 If this weather clears up I’ll be out n about some evenings, but most likely some sneaky weekend local deliveries!

The sale does continue, and we will continue to take all orders on our discounted goods 🚀

Instagram has levelled up in the word art department 😮‍💨

We are open for at least the next 2 weeks! IF YOU HAVE PLACED A COLLECT ORDER DO NOT COME IN UNTIL NOTIFIED. My website almost blew up last night, it was like the millennium bug finally showed up 25 years later 🚀 It’s going to take a week to crunch down click n collects & shipped orders. We will have you looking minty fresh as soon as asap.

Also, Holy moly. Thanks to everyone’s patience who came in today! The last 24 hrs have been chaos, the support is unrivalled, everyone was so understanding. Without my friends or family, we would not have opened today I can tell you that much.

Keynan is steering the ship tomorrow, I’ve told him not to open the door until 9:30 so he can put online orders aside.

This was a hard one, but the right one. I’ve chosen to call it a day here at Nook Store.

After 13 years I have decided to wrap up this chapter of my life. Your support over this time has, and always will be appreciated. Being a part of the Hunter St fabric as a small business for such a long time is something I am proud of. The customers, staff, local suppliers and brands always made it worthwhile. The time has come now for me to move on. The end of an era, and start of a new one.

From myself & ALL the team that have worked throughout this time - Thank you 🫶
