With the mornings getting a bit crisper and daylight savings around the corner, I’ve just finished my first batch of blanket bucket hats for the autumn! These are tentatively for a market next weekend I’m waiting to hear back on, but whatever’s left will be available to purchase soon! It was my absolute honour to be entrusted with another pet portrait for a beautiful doggo who passed away recently. These pieces are always a pleasure to stitch and I love making something so special.

This took 20+ hours of stitching; mostly done with 2 and 1 threads on my needle.

It’s autumn and I’m feeling the urge for another batch of cosy blanket bucket hats!! I have so many beautiful wools I have collected in the last 8 months that I’m dying to cut into 😍

I think this year I will have long and short brim options, and customs will have an optional waist tie for a windy winter. I love these for keeping my hair dry and head cosy all autumn, winter and spring long (brim down for ‘Rain Mode’).
