After seven years in Newrybar we are leaving this little village and taking our flowers to a very exciting new space. This village and the incredible customers I’ve met have seen me through the early days of deep grief, beautiful friendships, a front row seat to wonderful celebrations and so many happy memories that will stay with me always. Thank you for visiting me, trusting me with your blooms and letting me into your lives every time you walked through the doors. The wonderful women of The Old Pacific Newrybar are treasures and I feel so fortunate I was able to be a part of their story.

A lot of you have followed along here before my beautiful son Khaya died. Some of you are just here for the flowers but for me there is no separation between my job and my life. This Thursday on the 30th of April my first baby, the biggest brother of our crew would be turning 30. 30 years of dinners, 30 years of baby cuddles, 30 years of being a mum and 30 years of Khaya-Blue. My grief has been very present lately, my whole body knows what has happened to our family in the loss of him, and I also have a really present need to honour him in a special way. Khaya was a lifelong vegetarian, if on Thursday you feel like eating something vegetarian and delicious in his honour, or just sending the sparkle of his beautiful life some love it will forever warm my mumma heart x
