OUR FINAL TRADING WEEKEND + A VERY SPECIAL COMP! ❤️

Lovelies, this is it! This weekend will officially be our very last weekend of trading on King Street. We are so incredibly grateful for all the years of love, laughs, and fashion, and we would absolutely love to see you in-store for one last farewell hug and a chat. 🫂❤️

To celebrate the end of this wonderful chapter, we are hosting a little design competition, and the prize is a total dream!

🎨 THE DRAGSTAR BAG COMP

We want to see your creativity shine! We’re asking you to decorate our classic paper Dragstar shopping bag. Paint it, collage it, embroider it, bedazzle it, make it uniquely yours!

How to enter:
1️⃣ Collect your bag: Pop into the shop this weekend to grab one of our classic paper bags (this weekend is your very last chance to pick one up!).

2️⃣ Get creative: Work your magic on it at home.

3️⃣ Hand it in: Drop your finished masterpiece off by Sunday 21st June.

Since our doors will be closed after this weekend, you can hand your bags in to our wonderful sister shop:

This long weekend, we’ve pulled together a special collection of pieces from both of our sister stores and with EVERYTHING JUST $20 AND UNDER!!!

We’ve sorted through the studios to bring you a fun mix of tshirts, pants, gorgeous fabrics and books. If you love a good holiday rummage and an absolute bargain, this is your sign to come say hi!

We are busy prepping the shop for the massive Archive Sale this weekend, which means our doors are closed during the week so we can get everything on the racks!

Please check our temporary schedule below before heading down:

🗓️ THE SCHEDULE

❌ MON 25th – FRI 29th MAY: SHOP CLOSED
We are closed Monday through Friday day to pack, prep, and load in years of rare archives, samples, and seconds.

🔒 FRIDAY NIGHT, 29th MAY (4pm–9pm): VIP EXCLUSIVE
Our early access night with a live DJ and bubbles is strictly for our 20 guestlist winners and their plus-ones.

⚡️ SAT 30th & SUN 31st MAY: OPEN TO ALL!
The main event! Doors open to absolutely everyone for the full-on Archive, Samples & Seconds Sale.

Saturday/Sunday: 10am – 5pm

Remember, there are lots of true one-offs here, and once they’re gone, they’re gone for good.

Rest up during the week, bring a big tote bag, and we will see you all bright and early on Saturday morning! 🧺❤️

As we prepare to close our doors, we are opening up the archives for our biggest sale ever. We’ve dug deep into the studio to bring you never-before-seen samples, rare archives, and unique seconds alongside our final collections.

There are lots of true one-offs here. Once they’re gone, they’re gone forever!

A lovely moment in the shop, on Sunday.
Actually, most days of the moving out sale have been like this, Beautiful women who’ve loved Dragstar forever, who have so many wonderful stories to tell, and memories to share.
You’ve all made something, which has been difficult, into a celebration of Dragstar.
It's very moving, and I feel so loved and supported.
Thank you guys 💝

And just a heads up, an email for our Archive, Seconds and Sample sale, is going out tomorrow night,( Thurs ) so watch out for that one, a fun competition will be announced,
