Picking up three pieces of litter won't solve pollution on its own. But if millions of people did that every time they went outside, the math shifts fast.

Three pieces becomes thirty. Thirty becomes three thousand. Scale it across a whole country and you're talking millions of pounds of trash that won't end up in streams, wash into the ocean, or break down into microplastics that contaminate soil and water.

The bigger thing though? Small actions rewire how we think. People who pick up litter tend to become people who plant trees, compost, vote with the environment in mind, and pull others along with them. One habit connects to the next.

Real environmental change usually just comes down to ordinary people doing small things consistently. It's not dramatic. It's just showing up.
