Since we got confirmation of our funding from the AMP Foundation, the team at Fair Threads has been working hard behind the scenes to bring founder Luke Anderson’s vision to fruition!

We’ve partnered with ecommerce developer Propeld, secured Social Traders accreditation, discussed collaboration with aligned organisations like Reboot Australia, and attended the recent Shared Value Project.

We’ve also launched a page over on Instagram, and we’d encourage you to check it out and give us a follow! (Link in comments)

We’re close to the next step of having our first garments ordered, and we can’t wait to let you know how you can help support our goal of supporting people from the Inside, Out!

GROW’s Brooke Hyland met with Luke Anderson of Fair Threads earlier this week ahead of the screening of an exciting documentary Luke has been part of.

Luke, who has lived experience in the justice system and is now a social entrepreneur and public speaker, is working with Corrections Victoria to develop a social enterprise to support people to reintegrate into society. As a GROW Signatory, Luke is passionate about creating social change and works to help ex-inmates get back into the workforce after leaving prison.

Luke has been part of a documentary called ‘How to Thrive’, an impactful documentary which shows how seven Australians with mental health struggles transform their life and learn how to thrive, guided by Positive Psychotherapist, Marie McLeod.

The documentary will be screening at Village Cinemas this Sunday 23rd October at 4pm. If you’re interested you can purchase tickets to the screening here:
