We have made a very conscious decision not to put any anti-mould coating on our lunch bags or any other Spencil products, as the coatings available can cause harm to our environment and to humans. This can mean that in humid climates, mold can grow (especially if your kid loves to squeeze yoghurt all over their lunchbox...)

That's why we suggest if possible to have two lunch bags, so they have time to dry out properly between uses, and stay mold-free.
