Claire and her partner initially came to us to collaborate on the design for her dream engagement ring, a Bespoke Comune Cluster Ring, with off-kilter gems, claw set in careful asymmetry.

After falling in love with the design, the couple asked if we could also create a matching Wedding Band Stacker to sit snug with Clair’s Cluster ring.

Prioritising movement and flow, we elevated the simplicity of the traditional band design, to give Claire a set of wedding rings that were personalised and modern, without compromising on timeless elegance.

At Comune Gallery, we create personalised jewellery to symbolise your union and celebrate your special day.

With an emphasis on collaboration, we work across metals, finishes and gems to craft pieces that are equal parts timeless and specific to you!

It was a joy to create these custom wedding rings for Ellie and John. The gorgeous couple opted for white gold bands with an organic sand blast finish to symbolise their union.

You can book a consultation to build your own bespoke pieces via the gallery website.

Special thank you to Ellie and John for sharing these beautiful images of their day with us! 🤍

The Falala necklace is inspired by the passport masks created and used by almost every ethnic group in West Africa across the 19th and 20th centuries. Small enough to fit in one’s palm, the owner would carry the mask when travelling. It would be woven into garments or worn as an amulet to keep the wearer physically and spiritually connected to their tribe.

Fashioned from recycled sterling silver, 9ct or 18ct gold, the Falala necklace is handmade to order by Naarm-based designer A’Sika.

Comune - Diamond Cluster Ring 2

Discover timeless elegance with a contemporary flair, in this handcrafted asymmetrical diamond ring. Handmade in Brunswick/Naarm, Bonus Prize makes evocative designs that are organically molten and peppered with colour.

Colourful gems are set playfully in rectangular faces, while twinkling diamonds scatter across charred gold, emulating the night sky.

The result is a masterful merging of the study of earthly elements, and envelope pushing design.

Melbourne/Naarm-based jeweller Olivia Ware has over a decade of experience in jewellery making. Following her studies at Melbourne Polytechnic in 2013 and the completion of a Fine Arts degree at RMIT in 2018, Ware launched Olivia Ware Jewellery.

Deeply influenced by the natural world around her, Ware’s designs draw on the rich, organic shapes and textures found in the environment, alongside historical styles she has explored through dedication to her practice.

Each piece is crafted by hand in Ware’s Naarm studio, using solid recycled metals and ethical gemstones wherever possible. The result is a collection that speaks to classic elegance while retaining an undeniably personal and contemporary touch.
