When we started out we were completely clueless

all things caravanning! Post-kids we discovered a whole new world of adventure along with a whole new respect for the Australian holiday park and camping industry. We hope you might be too! If you aren’t you don’t know what you are missing – and we’d love to share with you! Our caravan is our little slice of escapism, we love to take regular short breaks and this is the perfect fit to our day-to-day life. There are no hotels to book, no gear to pack. We love the ability to escape at the drop of a hat. Whatever style of trip suits your family be it epic ocean-to-ocean or just a mini-break we look forward to getting to know you. This website is our online shop for our Travel Journals & Log Books, but also a destination to find some ideas and tips, handy links and a curation of the things we love. ‘This is a MUST stop for families! 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

The caravan park has big sites and two pools that are the perfect temperature to keep the kids entertained for hours! 💦

And when they finally get sick of the pools, head over to the pub where there’s a FREE splash park! 🙌🏼

Add in beautiful sunsets, a classic pub meal and, if fishing is your thing, the perfect spot to launch the boat and head out to catch some of the best fish in the Top End 🎣🌅

We LOVED exploring Tunnel Creek. One of the most exciting/scary/fun things you can do when touring The Gibb. What an adventure!

To find this beauty head to Angels Gabriel Capararo Reserve near Gleniffer and walk along the creek to find the deeper pools.’

‘How bloody wicked is this!?!

Welcome to The Bubbler. One of the mound springs in Wabma Kadarbu Mound Springs Conservation Park. It is located along the Oodnadatta track, just a short 10-minute drive from Coward Springs.

The water comes from the Great Artesian Basin, travelling underground before being pushed back to the surface. Over thousands of years, minerals have built up around the spring, creating the mound you see today.

And yes, as you can see, it bubbles!!!

What I loved most was the contrast of the area. One minute you’re driving through this incredibly dry, dusty landscape, and then suddenly there’s this little pocket of water and green life sitting in the middle of it all.

Save this place if you ever plan on doing the Oodnadatta track!’

Add this little gem to your Lawn Hill Gorge (Boodjamulla) itinerary!

You can camp down on the Gregory River, but there’s also a free camp in the township with toilet & shower facilities as well as a dump point. Canoe hire is also available.
