a sweet tradition continues on 🧚🏻‍♂️🦷✨

towards the end of last year, my beautiful mum came to me with an extra special request. she had recalled that every Christmas, after everyone had opened their presents, Pa would disappear and come back with stockings full of chocolates for everyone. he would say they were from ‘the tooth fairy’. since this was the first Christmas with him no longer here, mum decided to continue on this tradition for her family, with my assistance of embroidering everyone’s names on their stockings 🤍

with only a couple of days left until these stockings were being gifted, I had the sudden idea to make little tooth fairy ornaments for everyone. I added their little wings last minute, and I think it was the cutest little addition 🥰

it was such a privilege to honour Pa and his special tradition, and it was so special to make something so meaningful for my beautiful family.

the timing didn’t feel right, to post this special tradition during the busyness of the holiday season. The only day that felt right to share was today. His special day all about him; his 80th birthday, and first birthday in the stars.

I can imagine he’s having a big party up there today, and having a sweet treat or two.

Happy Birthday Pa, we miss you 🍷❤️

with this special order for my beautiful sister, she gave me full creative freedom to make this piece! she loved every colour so much, she asked me to make a goose in a each of the colours for her name, and string it up as a garland! 🥹

for a piece so far out of my comfort zone, it’s easily one of my most favourite pieces I’ve created! 🥰
