🐴 Looking for a Host Venue! 🐴

With the Therabay now in action, I’m looking for properties that would like to host a Horse & Hound Wellness Therapy treatment day.

Your agistment, private property or equine facility could become a convenient location where clients can bring their horses for:
✨ Whole-body Therabay Red Light Therapy
✨ Equine Massage & Bodywork (if required)

What’s in it for the host?
🐴 Complimentary treatments for your own horse(s)
⚡ I’ll happily contribute towards the electricity used for the Therabay
🤝 A great opportunity to offer something different for your local horse community

All I need is:
✔️ A safe area for horses
✔️ Access to power
✔️ Enough room to set up the Therabay

If you’d like to host a wellness day or know someone who might be interested, send me a message. I’d love to bring Horse & Hound Wellness Therapy to more horse owners across the Hunter and surrounding areas!

🐾 More than just a massage… it’s support for every stage of your dog’s life. 🐶💚

Whether your dog is slowing down with age, working hard every day, recovering from activity, or simply deserves a little extra care, canine massage can help support their comfort and wellbeing.

Massage may help with:
🐾 Older dogs with arthritis or stiffness
🐾 Working and sporting dogs
🐾 Recovery after exercise
🐾 Tight or sore muscles
🐾 Improved mobility and flexibility
🐾 Relaxation and overall wellbeing
🐾 Family pets who deserve to feel their best

Every dog receives an individual assessment, with treatments tailored to their needs. Whether they’re a senior companion, an active working dog, or your much-loved family pet, the goal is the same—to help them move more comfortably and enjoy life.

Because every wagging tail deserves to feel its best. 🩵

🐴 Is your horse trying to tell you something?

Not every horse shows obvious signs of discomfort. Often it’s the little changes that can mean they’re feeling tight, sore or restricted.

You might notice:
✨ Stiffness on one rein
✨ Difficulty picking up a canter lead
✨ Resistance in transitions
✨ Sensitivity around the girth or when being groomed
✨ Tripping or feeling unbalanced
✨ A change in behaviour or performance
✨ They just don’t feel quite like themselves

Horses are incredibly good at compensating, so those small changes are often their way of telling us something isn’t right.

Regular bodywork, massage and red light therapy can help support muscle comfort, flexibility, movement and overall wellbeing.

If your horse is showing signs of pain, significant lameness or sudden changes in movement, it’s important to consult your veterinarian before booking a bodywork session.

Sometimes listening to the little signs early can make a big difference. 💚🐴

Have you noticed any of these changes in your horse recently?

I’ve been asked lately the difference between Red Light Therapy & PEMF… so here it is 👌

🐴 PEMF vs Photobiomodulation (Red Light Therapy) – What’s the Difference? 🤔

These two therapies are often mentioned together, but they don’t work the same way.

✨ Photobiomodulation (Red Light Therapy) uses red and near-infrared light to stimulate your horse’s cells. The light is absorbed by the cells, helping them produce more energy (ATP) to support healing, recovery, circulation, and reduce inflammation.

⚡ PEMF (Pulsed Electromagnetic Field Therapy) uses gentle magnetic pulses instead of light. These pulses pass through the body and may help improve cellular communication, support circulation, reduce discomfort, and assist the body’s natural healing processes.

A simple way to think about it:

💡 Red Light Therapy gives the cells more energy to do their job.
⚡ PEMF helps the body’s communication system work more efficiently.

Both therapies have their place and can complement each other, but they work in completely different ways.

At Horse & Hound Wellness Therapy, I currently offer whole-body Photobiomodulation (Red Light Therapy) with the Therabay, helping support your horse’s recovery, mobility, and overall wellbeing.
