sl st: slip stitch

2 strands of dk yarn (or 8ply) worked together throughout entire work

6.5mm hook used

One size fits all (adults)

ch 42

Row 1
htr into 3rd ch from hook, and in every ch along

Work should measure 48cm when laid flat from first row to last, rows can be added or subtracted for a better fit if needed

To make up
turn, as if to start a new row
ch 1
fold work away from yourself so the first row is behind the last row
sl st into htrbl and corresponding foundation ch all the way along to form a tube
Leave a long tail of yarn
thread yarn tail onto darning needle and weave in and out of rows at top end of tube and pull closed, sew on a pom pom and then fasten off, sewing in ends

Pattern by Erin Heffernan :)
Note: If this pattern does exist elsewhere I couldn’t find it. I worked it out from scratch so I hope I’ve written it out so it’s easy to understand :)

Here you will find everything you need to order a custom hand made baby blanket!
The styles, edges and colours available, plus some charts to map out specific designs.
All this information can be sent to you in a PDF form for your convenience, all you have to do is ask!

All blanket styles measure approx 100cm by 70cm, and are made with Stylecraft Special DK yarn (100% acrylic), an award winning UK brand not available in Australian retail outlets.

I can take other requests not seen here, if you had a different idea or needed a bigger size. We can discuss your ideas and I'll give you my best quote for sizes, prices and time frames.

Orders take 1-6 weeks to complete, depending on yarn that might need to be ordered, and how many orders I have going at once.

$70 per blanket, any style shown.
Cash payments preferred, bank transfers can also be organised upon request.
Please contact me within 14 days of receiving blanket if you have any issues with it.
Shipping will cost extra if required, determined by weight of item.

Care instructions: Cool hand wash 30 degrees. Do not bleach, dry cleanable, do not iron. Care instructions will also come with each order.
