He keeps asking to mop the floors and I keep saying ‘no’
But why? Because it’s just easier for me to do it myself.

He wants to help, he wants that sense of purpose so who I am I to deny that.

With his 10 month old brother watching on I realised he is setting a bloody good example and work ethic at 7 years old.

Playground Upgrade Alert 🚨

Tag your Mum friends because there’s a new playground to check out these school holidays.

⭐️ Beginner skate park.
⭐️ Swings and slides for bigger Tiny Humans and small ones too.
⭐️ Picnic tables and benches for us Mama’s with our coffees 😜
⭐️ Basketball and netball hoops
⭐️ Drink fountain

Only downfall as usual is no toilets.

Honestly please tell me I’m not alone, surely we can’t be the only ones acquiring these piles of stuff around the house.

It’s driving me bonkers. Time for a big clear out and clean up.

A regular misconception about homeschooling is that our son is missing out. Missing out on what I always ask? 🤷🏼‍♀️

Socialisation is the biggest thing and to that I say, my 7 year old has a better social life and more friends than me 🙈

Between homeschool catch ups, sports, play dates, excursions and his nature based learning program we are out and about more than we are home.

When your 7 year old can’t be at the MCG with Daddy Human you try make it special at home instead.

Can’t show you the full reveal unfortunately but he was over the moon 🥰

We’ve got foil door curtains, streamers, balloons, purple juice, purple snacks and he’s wearing his full Fremantle Dockers kit.

Come on boys do us proud 🥳

Unfortunately this cute cookie stand isn’t available in Perth and you’d need to travel 14,640km to get to it here in Guernsey 🇬🇬

I absolutely love this idea by The Blue Chicken House Bakery We had to treat ourselves to a Jammie Dodger Cookie! 🤤

Perth businesses take note I’d love to see these jotted around the suburbs.

It’s an easy question to pass off with a ‘yeah I’m fine’ but gone are the days of people being shamed for sharing how they really feel.

Roast chicken and drive through shouldn’t go in the same sentence but they do thanks to Red Rooster

If it’s been a while since your last visit I highly recommend sampling a whole chook.
They are hand seasoned, hand stuffed and slow roasted in store every day!

Fun fact Daddy Human ate a whole chicken to himself one lunch time haha, protein goals 💪🏼

P.S Tiny Human says you’re got to get a pineapple fritter as well 😜
