For years my body believed it was being chased by a bear
This was a way my body and mind co existed to keep me safe. Constantly in fight or flight (survival mode) prepared at anymore to keep me safe.
Lost of friendship crumbled because of how much I was just trying to survive.
This is when I was mirrored moments and I knew it had to change, I’ve had to make moves and action steps to easy my mind and remind my body I’m not being chased by a bear. To know I was safe to be myself.
I look back now and thank past version of me for being so brave and having the courage for taking the steps.
