A gentle pause, close to home 🌿

As part of our “Local Series”, we’re inviting you to slow down and reconnect through mindful making — a half-day retreat designed to ground, restore, and inspire.

Join Olivia from .insta for a soft, nurturing yoga flow to ease you into the day, followed by Carly from , who will guide you through the beautiful process of natural dyeing. You’ll create your own unique silk piece — choose from a scrunchie, sleep mask, or scarf — each one infused with intention and nature.

Held at the Women’s Shed, a warm and welcoming space run through — an inspiring community of four mums dedicated to fostering creativity and supporting mental wellbeing — this morning is all about carving out time for yourself.

📍 Building 2, 173 Gildercliffe Street, Scarborough
🗓 Sunday, May 3rd
⏰ 10am–1pm

Come as you are, and leave feeling grounded, connected, and creatively fulfilled.

Spots are limited — we’d love to have you join us 🤍

This weekend I spent a beautiful day hosting an Upcycling Indigo Workshop 💙

There’s something quite special about gathering around a vat of indigo — people arriving with old garments and textiles that may have been sitting unworn or forgotten, and watching them slowly transform into something entirely new. Piece by piece they were dipped into the dye bath, emerging first green and then turning that deep, magical blue as the air works its alchemy.

Each person brought their own creativity to the process, and by the end of the workshop there was a collection of completely unique pieces — old fabrics given a new story and a second life.

These workshops are always such a lovely reminder of how creative, resourceful and joyful the process of making can be when we slow down and work with natural materials.

If you’d love to join a workshop this year, I’ve added many more dates to my website for 2026.
Head to the link in bio to explore what’s coming up and book your place. They do tend to fill quite quickly, so if something catches your eye it’s best to jump in early.

Thank you to everyone who joined me for such a beautiful day of making. 💙
