⚔️Hello ladies and gouls⚔️
Here's me blabbing about what ive been doing this last week or so;
New metals arrived and i also dug through some of the boxes my Nana shipped over, heaps of beads, glass, charms and stuff ive never seen before.
Im being tested in some areas, using new tools i havent used before, having to get even bigger tools because some of this metal is snapping my little jewellery tools in half 😅 Also working with straight lines and then bending them in odd ways, snapping things in half or completely off has been new and fun.
I found a bunch of turquoise my Nana purchased in the 90s, its so nice and cold to touch so obviously I put swords on them 💅
I made a necklace choker that has a huge flail ball on the end of it, think of like a lead that hangs off your neck. (BORKBORK)
Some of you OGs will remember how in the early days of this business i made stone gemstone bracelets, well since i hoard everything i still got all those beads! So i made some spacers outta them.
Started to also handmake those little petal flowers FINALLY and I really enjoy doing them, so satisfying to bend the metal around them. Doing weapons with florals heals something in me 🌸
I bought a new ring light that really changes the mood when I do warm vs cold lighting and makes eveything look freaking awesome, well worth the money spent and it makes my crappy scrappy materials i use for shooting actaully look not so scrap like, even the teacup i thrifted years ago turned up beautiful with the warm light setting.(✨️last photo was a selfie captured in pitch black by my love ✨️)
