ect way to refurbish that piece of furniture that just doesn't work with your decor any more but is much too special to part with. I believe there is more to vintage and antiques than just their monetary value....to me the value is in the nostalgia, the memories. Owning an antique or vintage piece that has been handed down through the family is part of how we pass on our personal family stories, traditions and history which in turn help us understand where we've come from and who we are. When we use those pieces in our homes and at the table with our families on special occasions we have the opportunity to honour and remember those family members that came before us, and to create new traditions and stories for the generations to come. Life is short - Use the good china - Make new memories and traditions and then pass them on!

Shout out to the lovely team at WA Mums Cottage on Davey St in Mandurah .
After a hectic 5 weeks I popped into their Cottage Cafe & Op Shop on my way to Harvey today for a little “retail therapy”.
It’s an awesome shop and bonus points for the opportunity to sit and enjoy my delicious lunch in the front garden enjoying the sunshine while the bees feasted on a nearby lavender bush.
They do a lot of good work for WA women. If you get the chance pop down to Mandurah and support them! 💕

Suit size 9b Men’s OR Women’s 10/10.5
Beautifully stitched waves and flames, in lovely condition for age.
Maker’s mark not visible due to outer soles being redone, but the styling of the size lettering and number range markings are consistent with the American Brand Justin Boots.

Play a few Tex Ritter country & western vinyls, add a felt hat, City Chic denim jacket, a couple of brooches and a highly innapropriate 80’s badge and you’re all set for a night of boot scootin fun at Gosnells Hotel’s next event 😜🤠
