Move Me Dancewear has now closed after more than eight years.
When I started Move Me Dancewear, it began as a dream and a very clear idea of where I thought this business would go.
Over time, my priorities changed. I grew. I had new ideas, new visions, and new paths calling me.
For a long time, the idea of closing Move Me Dancewear felt impossible. It was my first business. I tied so much of my identity to it, and I saw closing it as failure.
But somewhere along the way, I learned that pivoting isn’t failure.
It’s growth.
It’s listening.
It’s choosing alignment over attachment.
When I finally accepted that, I knew - deeply - that this was the right decision. Not logically, but with every part of me.
Move Me Dancewear was never a mistake. It was a chapter. A beautiful, formative one. And it will always be part of my story as an entrepreneur.
