A day in the life of James Brown and the Australia's Pearling Pioneers team during pearl harvest season, captured in just 15 seconds. 🦪

From seeding through to harvest, every Australian South Sea pearl grown at Cygnet Bay is the result of time, skill, patience and an incredible amount of work behind the scenes.

Here, we’re alongside James Brown two years ago for a glimpse into just one of the many parts he plays in the pearling process and supported by the wider team whose knowledge and hard work keep each stage moving, season after season.

And the work is well underway. Over the coming months, we’ll begin sharing more of the pearls that were seeded during this time two years ago as they’re graded, selected for jewellery and continue their journey from farm to finished piece.

Eight decades of pearling at Cygnet Bay, made possible by generations of knowledge and the people who continue it today.
