We've been having a rather productive Tuesday behind the scenes — photographing, measuring, researching, and listing some of the more special pieces from our collection. 💜

And today's little online drop is rather fabulous…

🧥 A wonderfully bonkers vintage Kerry McGee wool & cashmere tartan blazer with spectacular embroidered detailing and personality for DAYS.

🤎 A beautifully soft vintage genuine fur stole with detachable tails and enough Old Hollywood glamour to make taking the bins out feel like an event. 😂

🎩 Our fabulous 1980s Soviet-era natural rabbit fur ushanka, complete with its wonderfully battered original factory tag and a story stretching all the way back to the former USSR.

🤎 And a gorgeous vintage Perth furrier stole, beautifully preserved and ready for its next glamorous chapter.

🧥 Vintage Kerry McGee Australian Designer Blazer
A glorious wool & cashmere blend in an unapologetically fabulous patchwork tartan, finished with contrast stitching and that brilliant embroidered McGEE detail across the back. Vintage Australian fashion with personality.

🤎 Vintage Genuine Mink Fur Stole / Cape
Beautiful honey-brown genuine mink with detachable tails — wonderfully glamorous, beautifully preserved and ready for its next chapter.

Both have now been photographed, researched, measured and listed on eBay with FREE Australian postage.

And yes… apparently eBay already thinks we should be sending offers on things we listed approximately five minutes ago. 😂😂

Well… Tuesday admin has taken us all the way back to the USSR. 😂🎩

Today's treasure is a fabulous vintage Soviet-era natural rabbit fur ushanka, complete with its wonderfully battered original factory tag.

And that scruffy little tag turned out to be the star of the show. ❤️

Our detective work traced it to the Bălți Fur Combine, in what was then the Moldavian SSR of the Soviet Union — present-day Moldova.

Dating from the later Soviet era, it still has beautifully dense fur, its quilted lining, original ties AND that fabulous old tag hanging on for dear life. 😂

Approx. 57cm and originally labelled as men's headwear, although we'd happily call this beauty unisex today.
