Estonian birch meets Donggala loom.π€
Haruu Design from Tallinn. In Estonia, Haruu knows what it means to make with winter light and forest time. So they listened to the cloth.
Haruu life paired Buya Subi with Estonian organic linen and wool from Saaremaa sheep. Natural dyes from Estonian bogs. Birch bark buttons carved in their studio. The Buya Subi became the front panel, uncut, honoring the weaverβs pattern. Their linen created the structure. Zero waste cutting. Every scrap saved.
Two ancient technologies in one garment.
One from the tropics. One from the North.
Both made without harm. Both made to return to earth.
To the Mama-Mama penenun of Donggala: AitΓ€h for your trust.
