A time long before online shopping when brothers from all working classes would pilgrimage to the iconic Chapel Street in the suburb of South Yarra/Prahran, Melbourne, postcode 3141. There they would find themselves, their true fashion individuality, in the long forgotten big department stores and emporiums of Love and Lewis, Reads, The Big Store and Maples.

This was a time when looking your best was not an effort but simply an expectation of one's self, part of becoming an authentic individual with style and purpose. The fashion accessory was the true statement of individuality and held a bold simplicity that said ‘here I am’. This is the true essence of Bib & Tucker. To quote the late great Orson Welles...
