How beautiful are these hot water bottle covers made by the talented ?

Karen used Vlieseline's 272 Thermolam as batting/fleece. 272 is easy to work with yet provides great thermal insulation!

✨New Sustainable Products ✨

It will be quite a few months before they hit our shores in Australia - but Vlieseline has added two more sustainable products to the collection to keep an eye out for - introducing: B700 & B 710

Our two new products are woven interlinings coated with a unique adhesive manufactured using natural resources- making these 100% biodegradable.

The special material composition ensures the decomposition of the material after the end of the life cycle of the garments in the soil and provides an ecological solution without a damaging impact on nature. 🌍🌳🌊🍃

Both products are ideal for dressmaking and perfectly suited for small parts, such as collars and cuffs, on blouses and shirts, as well as any other project that wants to be designed with sustainability aspects.
B 700 weighing 90g per m2 is slightly heavier than the B 710 weighing 55g per m2.

For those attending the AQC in Melbourne - a couple of things to keep an eye out for:

- Simone Hees from Mettler Germany will give a daily overview on Mettler's quilting threads at 12 noon each day. All seminar attendees will be given a free sample to try. Note, this is not at our stand but in the Seminars section of the show, not at our stand. 🧵

Who is going to the Australasian Quilt Convention this Thursday-Sunday in Melbourne? 🤩🍧🎉

Please come and say hello to us at the Vlieseline stand - where we will be exhibiting alongside Prym accessories and Mettler and Rasant threads (the brands of the Australian importer of Vlieseline).

We will have value packed showbags available for $30 so you can try some of the best quilting products from each brand - you can see in the image.

Fiona from Vlieseline Australia has used Molli Sparkles' famous lava lamp pattern on these cushions. Vlieseline’s Vliesofix has of course been used for the applique, then our G700 cotton woven backing for stability on the cushion on the left, and G785 for more flexible structure for the one on the right.
