What we have here is a classic Victorian-era English Oak Tilt-Top Table (circa late 1800s). Measuring a perfectly versatile 850mm wide, it is made of stunning, solid quartersawn English oak, showing off those gorgeous, deep medullary rays in the grain.

Designed in the 19th century for grand parlors, the top completely flips vertically with a satisfying snap of its original brass latch. It was made to be tucked flat against a wall when the room was needed for dancing or socializing!
