So… who is Shemaine ?

Well… I’m just like you with 47 years of intuitive living under my belt, a wildly colourful life, and a few experiences that have shaped me beyond measure.

I’ve laughed while meditating professionally with baby goats 🐐, held spiritual workshops during lockdowns, signed NDAs to connect with famous animal souls, and experienced the profound honour of a private council with Tenzin, the 14th Dalai Lama.

Life has taught me that we’re not here to control every twist and turn.

We’re actually here to learn how to face our fears and lean into the unknown and most importantly learn how to surrender....

To stop fighting the river and trust where it carries us.

To walk through the garden of life with curiosity stopping for flowers, listening to birds, feeling the wisdom of horses, talking to doggos, laughing with old friends…

…and enjoying a few carrots with new friends. 🥕🐴😂

Animals have been some of my greatest teachers.

🐐 Goats teach us not to take ourselves too seriously.

🐾♡ French Bulldog Wisdom on Enlightenment

I've been pondering while supervising the birds, sniffing the sea breeze, and perfecting my afternoon nap...

🐶 Humans are fascinating.

They spend so much time wondering if they're worthy of love... while wee dogs simply wag our tails and assume we already are.

That made me think about today's beautiful message...

"You won't wake up until you feel that you have paid a price for it." Alan Watts

Mmmm Oh, dear human...

Are you still keeping the game of disguise going?

Still carrying guilt simply for existing?

Perhaps guilt is the veil across the sanctuary... convincing us we must earn our own awakening.

We whisper to ourselves...

"I won't wake up until I deserve it."

Then life offers lesson after lesson, trial after trial, until one quiet moment arrives when we sigh...

"I've suffered enough."

And suddenly we allow ourselves to remember.

✨ ♡♡ I AM THAT I AM ♡♡

The sacred essence that has always lived within.

Maybe awakening was never a prize at the end of suffering...

Maybe it was waiting patiently beneath every layer of guilt, fear, and pretending.

We simply sit in it.

🐴 One of the greatest lessons horses have ever taught me...

After years of spending time with horses and communicating with them, one lesson has stayed with me more than any other...

Always assume positive intent.🤍

Horses don't waste energy creating stories about why someone did or didn't do something.

They simply respond to what is in front of them.

It's a lesson I've carried into my own life.

When we choose to give others the benefit of the doubt, we protect something incredibly valuable our own peace of mind.

We stop carrying around unnecessary resentment and make room for more compassion, understanding, and joy.

Of course, assuming positive intent doesn't mean becoming a doormat.

Horses are masters of healthy boundaries.

They'll let you know when something isn't okay, and then... they move on.

No drama.

No replaying the moment a hundred times.

Imagine if we did the same.

The world feels a little lighter when we stop assuming the worst in people.

And sometimes, the wisest teachers don't speak with words at all... they simply show us another way to live. 🐴✨

Communities across the country continue to rally, write letters, sign petitions, attend meetings and stand together to protect the wildlife and habitats that make Australia so special.

The heartbreaking images of koalas left amongst tree stumps, stripped of their homes and safe habitat, should be enough to make governments stop and listen.

These are not just trees being removed.

These are homes, food sources, nurseries and lifelines for countless native animals.

As an animal communicator, I feel deeply for the wildlife affected by this destruction.

These beautiful beings experience fear, confusion and loss just as we do.

They belong here.

I have called the Redlands home since 1992.

During that time, I've witnessed decades of conservation efforts, passionate volunteers, wildlife carers and community members working tirelessly to protect our precious koalas and their habitat.

Despite years of advocacy, research and investment, we are once again watching critical habitat disappear.

Enough is enough.

Our community has shown extraordinary commitment writing letters, making calls, travelling for hours, catching boats to attend meetings and rallies, and standing up for those who cannot speak for themselves.

Yet the chainsaws came.

The trees fell.

And the wildlife paid the price... AGAIN !!!!

We are heartbroken.

But we are not giving up.

A heartfelt thank you to Waterhouse for his incredible photographs of Leaf a beloved local koala who calls this beautiful place home.

Through his lens, people can see not just a koala, but a living soul whose future depends on the choices we make today.

Please join us this Saturday, 6th June at 2pm on Delancey Street Ormiston for a peaceful gathering as we stand together for Leaf, Kimmi, their joeys, and every koala, wallaby, bird and native animal that depends on this precious habitat.

For their future.
For their habitat.
For our children's future.

We are the guardians of this extraordinary land and these ancient gum trees.

Together, as Human Beings who care deeply for our wildlife, we will stand peacefully, united in protection, compassion and respect for all life.

The innocent need us now.

A day in the life of an
Animal Spirit Medium

Dancing between islands, catching boats, travelling to the mainland for events, in-home appointments, and conversations with the most beautiful humans and animals imaginable.

No two connections are ever the same.

Each appointment carries its own energy, depth and magic… and this little soul, Trevor 🐾 a young Bull Terrier was PURE joy wrapped in fur.

As the Scorpion Full Moon rises in all her luminous power, we are invited into a sacred union of earth and sky, instinct and intuition, shadow and light.
