Hong Kong Dim Sum, every dim sum is made from the heart!

Executive Chef Kong Choi Leung, one of Melbourne’s first dim sum master chefs (Janbo and Flower Drum), now has two Hong Kong Dim Sum stores in Glen Waverley and Doncaster East. There are 66 dim sum varieties, available to eat in-store or frozen for take-home.

The family business is now run with his son Andrew, and has been featured in The Age Good Food Guide and Gourmet Traveller. Chef Kong is happy to be passing down his skills and secrets to the best dim sum in Melbourne.

Spotted all the way over in Europe! @ journet_cafe is a fabulous little cafe in Journet - a small village located west of France and is owned and run by two Australians, Mike and Wayne.

We love how their gorgeous cafe logo turned out on our stone LUCA aprons. The perfect colour for the beautiful, quaint French cafe - that seems to book out on a regular basis!

And you can see why with all those scrumptious-looking cakes and desserts.

Spotted! Simone Jude, Simone, is the pastry chef at Bistra. Recently showcased in both Broadsheet Melbourne and WISHMAGAZINE.

She has become known for bringing old-fashioned desserts, like marmalade pudding, back into the spotlight.
As Simone mentioned in the write-up, “I guess you could call it granny chic? Essentially, I revisit a lot of the old classics.”

I finally replaced my old chef jacket and should’ve done it sooner!
The biggest difference? This Alex Zipper Jacket from Aussie Chef is actually comfortable.

The mesh side panels keep me cool during service, the fit feels modern, and I’m not constantly adjusting it.
It still looks professional at the end of a busy shift too.
