Waltz of the Red Gum

A deep love of Australian native flora inspires this piece, drawing on their unique forms and vibrant presence. *Waltz of the Red Gum* celebrates the red flowering gum, its blossoms unfurling in a rhythmic, almost weightless dance around the headpiece.

Honoured to have this work selected for the International Millinery Network’s Royal Ascot Showcase this weekend in the UK.

I’m back!
Well ... truthfully, I’ve been back for over a week, but the jet lag and return to reality have been very real!
Travelling through Denmark, Norway, Finland and Sweden meant embracing a very different kind of headwear - living in two to three layers of beanies most days. Snow-covered landscapes, crisp air and moments that felt like stepping into a real-life fairytale - it's been an adventure I will never forget.
Now my creative cap is firmly back on and I’m returning to the studio with fresh inspiration and a full heart.

Two hat boxes are off on an adventure - heading first to the USA and then to the UK for this year’s Royal Ascot. Honestly, I wish I were sneaking into one of them - imagine the stories.

Inside are two very special custom-made hats that I can’t show you just yet, I’ll have to wait until late June when they finally step out at Royal Ascot before I can share pictures online.
