Morning everyone,
Sorry for the late notice but I will be closed today as I’m just feeling a bit yuk. I have tested myself and it’s not COVID, yay.
Just feel like I’m coming down with something. I felt a bit better this morning but I have gone downhill since then.
Fingers crossed that I good for Monday.
If you have made a special trip to Robe to visit me today send me a message and I can open for you.

Morning everyone,
Well here we go again!
My daughter has tested positive to Covid on a RAT so I just need to wait for our PCR results to come back to see if I have it as well.
Consequently the shop will be closed, again, till the the 26th.
Sorry for any inconvenience.
I hope to get a little bit of sewing done this time 🤞.

Hi,
Hope everyone is enjoying their summer.
Just letting you know that there is a change in my opening hours. This is due to some changes in my real jobs hours, which encroaches on the time I help my mum.
So the new hours are
Monday 12-3
Tuesday 10-3
Saturday 12-3
I am happy to open out of hours if I am around.

Morning
Just letting you know we are out of isolation and the shop will be open tomorrow, Saturday the 14th January, then Monday, Tuesday & Friday.
Hopefully I will be open these days for the rest of the summer. I have missed seeing you and talking about your latest projects.

Evening everyone,
Just letting you know I am a close contact of some one who has tested positive to COVID.
I need to isolate for the next few days and get tested. So the shop will be shut until my isolation has been completed.

Hi everyone,
Hope you are nearly ready for Christmas, as its not far away🎄.
I would just like to let you know I’m closing the shop till Christmas.
I have decided to spend this time catching up on quilting, with my daughter and get ready for my visitors that are coming over the summer holidays.
I will be open on the Monday the 27th & Tuesday the 28th December
But closed on the 1st January.
I will be opening one extra day a week over January and I will post that day close to the time.
I won’t be far away so if you need anything please contact me and I will open the shop for you.

Sometimes when I start a quilt I know exactly what it’s going to look like when it’s finished.
But with some of the scrappy quilts that I make up, as I go along, I have no idea of the end result will be and this quilt is one of them.
I had had several ideas of what I might like to do but those thoughts keep evolving as I go along.
With this quilt I planned to put a small border each side of the main panels and have a churn dash or star blocks scattered in a scrappy sashing.
Now that I lay it out I’m not so sure. I will think about what I’m going to do for a little bit 🤔.
If you have any suggestions I’m more than happy to listen.

Hi, just letting you know that I won’t be open tomorrow, Monday the 21st, as I’m going to Naracoorte to the Mill Quilters.
I will be open on Tuesday and let’s hope the weather is a bit warmer ☀️.
This is the quilt I will be working on over there. It was meant to made out of a Jellyroll but that was too chunky for me so I use 1 3/4” strips and I have changed the layout, as I do 🙄.

Hi,
Hope everyone is keeping warm 🔥.
I managed to sew the Cobweb quilt triangles into sets of 4, so it’s easier to layout.
I’m really happy with the way it’s looking, I only need to make another 88 triangles 😜🤪.
Will have to cut up some more fabric before I can continue sewing .
I will start to take the paper off the back of the blocks tonight while having a wine.
