Coopers first opened in Bolsover Street on the 2nd November, 1953. Coopers clothing stores have provided quality fashions to four generations of Rockhampton and Central Queensland ladies. The family owned and run business started by Glynn and Althea Cooper in 1953 has been synonymous with affordable, quality clothing, personal customer service, honesty and integrity in business practice for over 50 years.

Coopers Ladies Fashion, proudly owned by the Cooper family since 1954, is closing its doors. We want to thank our incredible staff for their loyalty, commitment, and all the memories and laughs over the years.

A very special mention to our beautiful Barb — who has been with us for 50 years. You’re not just part of the team, you’re part of our family. Thank you, we love you — Coopers wouldn’t have been the same without you. 💖

To our wonderful customers — thank you for your support and friendship through the decades. You’ve made this journey unforgettable.
